Requirements
Must:
I require a PHP Web Developer with strong programming expertise in PHP, including Laravel, and familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, CSS, and HTML. You should have experience working with open-source technologies, including database management with PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as a background in Content Management Systems (CMS) and API integrations.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the development and refactoring of our main website to align with modern standards and best practices. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Additionally, you will enhance and extend the customer dashboard, focusing on improving usability, performance, and data presentation. You will integrate third-party APIs to streamline workflows and support new financial services functionality. It will also be part of your responsibilities to contribute to code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and security across all deliverables.
Description
This is a contract position offering remote working, though I prefer candidates based in or near the Greater Manchester area for occasional collaboration or onsite visits as needed. The contract will initially be for 3 months at market rates, and it falls outside IR35. This is a great opportunity to work on the ongoing delivery and enhancement of our web-based digital services using both open-source and Microsoft technology stacks.
