Requirements
Must:
- Expert proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data from disparate sources
- Hands-on experience with Spark (PySpark) or similar big data frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory)
- Experience using Jupyter/Databricks Notebooks for analysis and VS Code for pipeline development
- Experience working in an agile environment using Git for version control
- Design and implement models and algorithms
- Replace manual Excel and VBA workflows with robust automated Python pipelines
- Translate complex datasets into clear interactive narratives
Responsibilities
- Build reproducible and code-first data products
- Drive the evolution of analytics capabilities
- Produce insights to ensure automated workflows run reliably without manual intervention
- Aid in the transition to an Azure-native stack from legacy systems
- Utilize Python, Spark, and Cloud computing to automate complex workflows
Description
