Must:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of IT systems, capable of recommending improvements. You should have experience with SQL databases and managing large datasets, along with knowledge of MRP systems. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills are essential. We value the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Additionally, you should be a confident communicator and team player, able to build rapport with colleagues across the business.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials accreditation
- Exposure to systems such as Sage 200, DriveWorks, HubSpot, or ExpenseMe
Responsibilities
As the IT Manager, you will take ownership and enhance our IT environment to meet current and future business needs. You will maintain and develop our IT systems infrastructure to support business objectives, improve data handling capabilities (CRM, ERP, etc.) for optimal efficiency, and manage relationships with multiple external IT software providers. Collaborating with departmental managers will be key as you understand their requirements and deliver solutions. You will oversee system integration where practical, deliver effective reporting tools from multiple systems, and plan and implement key IT projects, providing regular progress updates. Ensuring the successful rollout of new systems and training for staff, as well as developing disaster recovery plans and maintaining data backups, will also be part of your role. Youll have key involvement in ensuring cyber security across the business.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional ready to take ownership of systems infrastructure and drive efficiency within a growing manufacturing business. The position offers a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside great benefits, including 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
