Requirements
Must:
- Background as a Tech Lead, Data Architect, or Senior Data Engineer
- Strong cloud data platform expertise
- Comfortable in a strategic, less hands-on role
- Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Strong Azure experience
- AWS exposure beneficial
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Ability to translate business needs into data models
- Experience with dimensional modelling (e.g. Kimball)
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery quality across data & AI projects
- Design cloud-first architectures and data platforms
- Lead and optimise Azure environments
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices
- Support hiring and team growth
- Influence technical strategy and tooling
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and delivered on time
