Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in a regulated or defence environment
- Strong working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture approaches (preferred)
- Good understanding of MILSATCOM infrastructure and architecture
- Ability to work effectively within secure, classified programmes
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Support systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to complex systems
- Contribute to enterprise architecture and system-level design decisions
- Work with stakeholders to ensure system requirements are clearly defined and met
- Provide big picture systems view across integrated platforms
- Support current workload and future programme demands
Description
We are an established UK engineering organisation seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support current and upcoming programmes within a secure environment. This role is part of a highly technical systems engineering function and offers the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical projects. Located in Portsmouth, this position includes a contract length of 6 months with potential for extension or conversion into a permanent role.
