Requirements
Must:
- Prior experience in 1st line IT support or deployment projects
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Experience in setting up and configuring laptops, software, and peripherals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support non-technical users
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Windows 11 experience (desirable)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Intune (desirable)
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Deployment of laptops to end users, including configuration and setup
- Providing 1st line support to resolve basic IT issues during deployment
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assisting users with initial setup, login, and basic troubleshooting
- Escalating complex issues to 2nd line support where necessary
- Ensuring accurate documentation of deployed devices and user issues
- Following deployment schedules and maintaining efficiency in rollout
Description
We are seeking multiple 1st Line Engineers to support a large-scale laptop deployment project for a Local Authority in Southwark, London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rollout, working as part of a dedicated IT support team. The rate for this contract role is £200 per day (Inside IR35) for an initial term.
