Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- 5 years' experience in data engineering, building and optimising large-scale cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong expertise in Snowflake (Snowpipe, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, UDFs) - SnowPro certification is desirable.
- Advanced skills in Python and SQL for ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in data workflows.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and performance optimisation.
- Confident in working directly with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Proven leadership experience within delivery teams.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer, you will:
- Lead the technical delivery of data engineering projects within client teams, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, design appropriate solutions, and plan the delivery process.
- Build and optimise data pipelines, architectures, and workflows on cloud platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Promote engineering excellence and actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Description
