Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. You should have a deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, along with proven experience in speech/audio processing areas such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), speech enhancement, audio analysis, Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Additionally, you must have experience in training models beyond using pre-trained ones. A strong ability to modify model architectures, retrain, and adapt research papers into production-ready systems is essential. A solid grounding in speech/audio machine learning, deep learning, and ideally generative AI for audio is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will research, design, and evaluate innovative AI algorithms, primarily focusing on speech and audio processing. You will lead the development of robust, scalable machine learning software for deployment on our flagship mobile devices. Owning major components of complex research projects from concept to production readiness will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to implement high-quality, well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
