Requirements

- Hold active SC Clearance
- Strong experience working with either NATO or the MOD
- Prepared to work in Brussels 50% of the time
- ITIL Foundation and Intermediate Certifications in Service Design/PPO, Service Transition/RCV, Service Operation/OSA, Service Strategy/SOA, and/or Continual Service Improvement
- Sound experience in IT services engineering, planning, operations, maintenance, and management
- Demonstrable experience as a line manager with the ability to motivate and mentor
- Experience with Configuration Management and Change Management processes and tools
- Strong business and managerial skills, including contingency planning, budget planning, preparation, and execution

Responsibilities
- Manage CIS Infrastructure as a Service, ensuring system readiness as specified in the SLA
- Ensure the availability and quality of engineering support through close coordination with service lines and the CIS Support and Sustainment Centre (CSSC)
- Manage DCIS Configuration Management to maintain all assets at known configuration states
- Conduct periodic risk assessments to address obsolescence and initiate projects under the NATO Security and Investment Programme (NSIP)
- Oversee Change Management plans to resolve identified problems and adapt the configuration baseline to meet evolving operational requirements
- Support the Principal Service Manager in the development of the annual Operation and Maintenance budget submission
- Contribute to and ensure the system documentation for operation, maintenance, and training is updated according to system evolution
- Manage contractor support resources and the acceptance of contractor services
- Provide input for the Principal Service Manager for the Quarterly SLA report and recommendations for the SLA Change management process
- Assess manpower and O&M budget requirements
- Support project managers through project development, delivery, and transition into service phases
- Deputize for higher-grade staff when required

Description
We are a well-established global IT consultancy, partnering with key NATO frameworks to deliver exceptional service. This role offers an initial 12-month contract that is likely to extend for at least one additional year. The position allows for 50% home working and 50% presence in Brussels, with flexibility in how this is structured. Candidates will need a UK Ltd company to open an EU bank account for payments in Euros and will operate as a UK Outside IR35 contractor. You will need to cover your expenses, but will be eligible for a €241.50 tax-free payment for every 24 hours spent working in Brussels, significantly easing your tax burden.
