Requirements
Must:
- 6 years engineering experience, leading the delivery of production digital services
- Strong Python skills (Ruby is a plus)
- Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience across multiple services, ideally in data platforms or open data services
- A big-picture mindset, influencing future direction beyond just implementing requirements
- Version control best practices (Git)
- Familiarity with Agile methods and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Cloud deployment experience with any major provider
- Government or Civil Service experience

Description
We are a major government department seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for our Open Data Platform, based in London or Manchester with hybrid work options (2 days per week onsite). Our focus is on driving a Data transformation programme with experienced professionals. We offer a competitive rate of £650 per day for this 12-month contract, and we require candidates to have active SC Clearance.
