Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with strong Linux engineering experience. You should be proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Experience in managing air-gapped networks and cloud platforms is essential. Familiarity with HPC environments and a solid understanding of security, encryption, and compliance standards are also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and maintain Kubernetes stacks, ensuring they comply with secure-by-design principles. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining platform software, libraries, and dependencies. Additionally, you will set up and manage Spark clusters and oversee migrations to new platforms. Managing user accounts and permissions across identity platforms will be part of your duties, as will maintaining the Delta Lake and ensuring platform-wide security standards. Collaboration with the wider team to advise on system design and delivery will also be a key aspect of your role.

This position is ideal for those with experience in security-cleared environments, looking to contribute to the design, delivery, and maintenance of secure, robust systems in a hybrid work environment in Hereford.
