Requirements
Must:
We are looking for Senior Data Consultants with the following must-have skills:
- Proficiency in Azure and Cloud Computing
- Experience with Databricks
- Proficiency in Python for building scalable solutions
- Strong SQL skills
- Data Orchestration experience with Azure Data Factory or equivalent
- Knowledge of Data Lakes and Governance (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Purview)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure DevOps
Bonus skills that would be beneficial include:
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Streaming Data (Event Hubs, IoT Hubs)
- Knowledge of Distributed Compute Engines
- Proficiency in Azure Functions (Python, C#)
- Databricks Certifications
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Consultant, you will lead projects from conception to completion, tackling complex data challenges. You will work remotely and leverage cutting-edge technology to provide innovative solutions. Your role will include:
- Engaging in strong consulting and requirements gathering to understand client needs
- Providing agile project leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Applying object-oriented practices, ETL, CI/CD, and SDLC methodologies
- Sharing your passion for data and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team
