We are looking for candidates with proven experience across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to transformation, validation, and analysis. You should possess strong Python skills, with confidence in building automation for large-scale data tasks. Hands-on experience with Snowflake is essential, along with a deep understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data governance standards. A solid grasp of financial data or lending domain knowledge would be highly desirable. We value passion for mentoring and upskilling teammates within a supportive, collaborative environment, as well as comfort working across teams and effectively communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead data migration and integration tasks to ensure quality and alignment across systems. You will design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to streamline data movement from diverse sources, as well as build and enhance a robust Snowflake data warehouse to support evolving reporting needs. You will troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, providing support to business users to ensure self-service access. Developing Python-based automation tools and scalable pipelines will also be part of your tasks. Furthermore, you will conduct data validation, cleansing, and rigorous testing to maintain data integrity while mentoring junior engineers and championing best practices in data management and engineering. Investigating and resolving challenges specific to the financial lending data environment will also be a key aspect of your role.
Description
We are offering a salary of up to £100,000, along with hybrid working options, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a great working environment.
