Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of AWS services (ECS, CDK, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB)
- Proven ability to develop scalable APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON services
- Experience with SQL databases (Postgres / T-SQL / Presto)
- Proficient in automated testing frameworks (Jest)
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience mentoring junior developers and advocating for best practices
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship high-quality backend features end-to-end
- Take ownership of services from concept through production and optimization
- Develop scalable APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Tech Leads on roadmap and delivery
- Improve deployment, testing, and engineering standards across the team
- Mentor other team members and champion best practices and clean code
