Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Purview and Information Protection
- Knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security architecture
- Understanding of general Azure platform security services
- Experience in implementing and managing enterprise security controls
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage security solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365
- Implement and manage the Microsoft Defender suite
- Work with Microsoft Purview, including Information Protection and Data Lifecycle Management
- Secure Azure platform services and infrastructure
- Provide security guidance and best practice to clients and internal teams
- Support incident response and security improvement programmes
- Contribute to internal security strategy and technical roadmaps

We are a growing SME located in Gloucester, seeking an experienced Azure Security Engineer to join our expanding Cloud & Security practice. This permanent role offers a hybrid work environment, with only 1-2 days a week in the office. We pride ourselves on our client-facing project work and internal security responsibilities, and we offer competitive salaries and bonuses to our team members.
