Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a degree in IT, Computer Science, or GIS, or equivalent practical experience. You should possess strong knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS product suite (Enterprise, Server, Portal) and have hands-on experience with enterprise system design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and scripting tools such as Python, ArcPy, or PowerShell is essential. Experience working within secure or classified environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are crucial. Eligibility to obtain a security clearance at the appropriate level is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support for core GIS platforms and manage the operation and maintenance of GIS IT environments, ensuring system performance and availability. You will support the installation, configuration, and upgrades of GIS software and enterprise systems. Diagnosing and resolving complex incidents, you will identify root causes and implement long-term solutions. Additionally, you will assist in user acceptance testing, documentation, and rollout of new releases, while providing technical training and support to system users. Collaboration with internal teams to improve infrastructure, automation, and data integration processes will also be part of your responsibilities.
