Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of proven experience developing with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend design, and integration best practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation - desirable)
- Background in secure development or working to security standards
- Experience delivering in Agile teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous exposure to government or defence projects - desirable
Responsibilities
As a Node.js Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining secure, high-performing software hosted on AWS. You will collaborate with stakeholders and other developers across the business. This mid-level, hands-on position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently.
Description
Due to the sensitive nature of the role, we prefer candidates who hold an active Security Clearance (SC) or are eligible and willing to go through the SC vetting process, which requires a minimum of 5 years' UK residency. We are a remote-first business, but this role will require occasional meetings in Gloucestershire.
