Requirements
Must:
- Strong Linux engineering skills (Ubuntu, RHEL or similar)
- Proven experience in on-prem or hardware-adjacent environments
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred, but Bash, Go, or similar also valued)
- Good knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Ansible, CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, PowerShell, Git etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- A methodical, problem-solving mindset - able to diagnose difficult, low-level issues
- Someone pragmatic, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-moving build phase
Responsibilities
- Support the design, build and automation of the infrastructure
- Work closely with hardware and operating systems
- Diagnose and resolve low-level issues
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize DevOps tools and practices in daily tasks
Description
We are a leading R&D organization located in London, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. Our team focuses on innovative solutions, and we provide competitive compensation, with a day rate between £525 - £600. This is a contract position for 6 months, requiring on-site collaboration 2-3 days a week. We look forward to finding a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects starting in January.
