Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Data Solutions Architect with strong experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure. You should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Power BI. A solid understanding of data modeling, ELT patterns, and governance frameworks is essential. Good communication skills are important, as you will be working with stakeholders at multiple levels. You should also have experience supporting delivery teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Comfort with SQL and Python is necessary for validation or prototyping.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on defining end-to-end data architecture using Microsoft Fabric and wider Azure services. You will create clear solution designs covering ingestion, modeling, governance, lineage, and analytics. It will be essential for you to work with engineering teams to ensure that architectures are practical and deliverable. Supporting clients through migrations into Fabric OneLake, including integration planning, will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will provide technical direction, design assurance, and best practice guidance, while helping to develop repeatable approaches for future Fabric-based implementations.
Description
We are offering a remote position in the UK for a contract duration of three months, with a strong potential to extend. The rate for this position is £600 - £700 (Outside).
