Requirements
Must:
- Experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles
- Strong understanding of data quality
- Strong understanding of metadata
- Strong understanding of data lineage
- Hands-on exposure to tools such as Collibra (key)
- Hands-on exposure to Monte Carlo (desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
- Experience working in cloud data environments
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g. Claude) - nice to have
- Experience in large, data-driven organisations - nice to have
- Background in travel, e-commerce, or digital platforms - nice to have
- Awareness of Snowflake - beneficial, not essential
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of data governance frameworks and standards
- Drive improvements in data quality, lineage, and metadata management
- Work with stakeholders to establish data ownership and stewardship
- Support use and adoption of data cataloguing and governance tools
- Assist with regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR)
- Collaborate with data architecture and data management teams
