Requirements
Must:
As a candidate, you must possess a qualification in GIS or a related data discipline, or have equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analysis and curation is essential, particularly in developing ETL/ELT processes with a focus on optimization. You should have strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python, and be familiar with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL/GIS. Additionally, familiarity with public or private cloud-based data tools and storage solutions is required.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Data Analyst, I will expect you to manage the data lifecycle by maintaining and enhancing datasets through ETL/ELT processes, optimizing pipelines, conducting geocoding, and performing quality monitoring. You will act as a subject matter expert for both internal and external queries. Another key responsibility will be to support products and services by researching, evaluating, and configuring datasets, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery according to project plans. You will also be tasked with advising on bespoke customer orders, managing delivery from start to finish, and ensuring that datasets meet governance standards regarding accuracy, frequency, currency, and metadata. Furthermore, I hope to see you drive process improvements, support key performance indicators related to automation and efficiency, and provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to your colleagues.
