Requirements
Must:
- Strong, proven experience with Azure API Management (essential).
- Solid development background in C# and/or Python (OO programming).
- Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including IoT Hub/Edge.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and OpenAPI.
- Nice to have: Android development, Docker/Kubernetes, or Azure certifications.
Responsibilities
- Own API design & management using Azure API Management - be the subject-matter expert in this space.
- Develop and maintain cloud applications using C# or Python.
- Build solutions around Azure IoT, device monitoring, and cloud data pipelines.
- Work with Azure SQL and Redis for reliable data storage and high-speed caching.
- Collaborate within a DevOps framework (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
- Contribute to best practice in cloud security and governance.

You will join our collaborative R&D team based in Leeds, working closely with global colleagues on projects that integrate devices with the cloud. This hands-on role covers the full software development lifecycle, from designing secure APIs to building cloud-native applications. We offer a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) and hybrid working with 3 days in the Leeds office, which is conveniently close to the train station and offers parking.
