Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a hands-on SC Cleared Azure Support Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Proficiency in Windows Server (2012 R2-2022) and Active Directory (multi-forest/domain).
- Expertise in Office 365 setup and administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of SAN and clustering technologies (Dell, HP).
- Exposure to SQL troubleshooting and Microsoft System Center (SCOM).
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Resolve incidents and major incidents within SLA.
- Investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
- Support enterprise IT services, ensuring availability, security, and integrity.
- Collaborate with project teams to transition new services into support.
- Maintain clear documentation and knowledge articles.
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers.
- Occasionally perform on-site tasks such as hardware swaps or patching.
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied, hands-on role, solving complex issues across diverse technologies. The position is remote-first with very occasional travel to London, Leeds, or Bristol. We are offering a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, with additional pay for participating in an on-call rota.
