Requirements
Must:
We are seeking professional, adaptable AV/VC Engineers with strong customer-facing experience. Ideal candidates will:
- Be available at short notice for UK on-site work
- Be confident working within corporate or financial-sector environments
- Have experience across a broad range of AV, VC, display, and presentation technologies
- Be comfortable working independently or alongside client teams
Responsibilities
As a freelancer, you will be involved in various tasks depending on your specialization:
*For Service Engineers:*
- Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve AV/VC system issues to minimize downtime at customer sites
- Carry out hardware repairs, part replacements, and system adjustments directly on-site
- Complete clear and detailed service reports, fault logs, and recommendations for follow-up work or preventative maintenance
*For Installation Engineers:*
- Install and commission a wide range of AV/IT solutions, including video conferencing systems, displays, digital signage, audio systems, broadcast setups, and control platforms
- Confidently read and interpret schematics, M&E drawings, and cable schedules
- Complete first-fix works including cable pulls, terminations, routing, and labeling, ensuring accurate documentation and progress updates
