Requirements
Must:
- I have 8 years of experience in C# as my primary programming language.
- I possess a strong appreciation for Object-Oriented Programming and understand how to design good quality, well-structured code.
- I routinely practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) and adopt a unit test-first approach to my development work.
- I have worked in an Agile Scrum team and am familiar with the associated ceremonies and artifacts.
- I understand how to build or modify tables and stored procedures in SQL within a relational database system.
Responsibilities
- I will engage in software development by writing code, creating associated unit tests and documentation, and resolving bugs as needed.
- I will provide updates on progress as part of our Scrum processes.
- I will actively participate in my Scrum team and the wider Product Engineering community by taking part in sprint ceremonies, team events, and similar activities.
- I will coach other team members and foster a continual improvement mindset within the team.
- I will contribute to software design by selecting, defining, and adopting technical frameworks and designs for our software.
- I will design and create the relevant MS SQL database elements, data pipelines, integrations, and monitoring, while evaluating team changes accordingly.
- I will contribute to architectural developments, including cloud components and security, ensuring designs and implementations align with agreed guidelines.
- I will actively lead Scrum ceremonies and processes, embodying a continual improvement mentality across the team and leading quarterly planning activities in conjunction with Business Analysts.
- I will provide career management and day-to-day line management for my direct reports, ensuring all IMServ processes are followed and striving to make our team a great place to work.
