Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a helpdesk or MSP environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP)
- Understanding of backups, security tools, and hardware troubleshooting
- Desirable: VoIP and RMM tools experience
- Desirable: Cybersecurity solutions experience
- IT Support experience: 2 years required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Work authorization in the United Kingdom required
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets
- Provide 1st line support, including password resets and access issues
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues
- Address basic network issues
- Carry out remote diagnostics and escalate issues where required
- Perform daily checks, such as backups and alerts
- Assist with device setup and small projects
- Attend customer sites when required
Description
We are a friendly, growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Mold, North Wales, looking for a customer-focused 1st Line Support Engineer to join our busy Service Desk team. This full-time role offers working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with no out-of-hours work required. We provide a company vehicle for site visits and offer a salary range of £26,000 - £27,000 per year. Our benefits include a company pension and on-site parking.
