We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager who is resourceful and solutions-focused. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT management or support, preferably within a warehouse environment. Strong technical knowledge of networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity is essential. I want someone who can work independently while managing multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach are a must. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms is desirable. Relevant IT qualifications or certifications, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco, would be a valuable addition.
Responsibilities
As an IT Manager, you will take ownership of our warehouse’s IT infrastructure and systems. Your key responsibilities will include managing and maintaining all IT systems, hardware, and software across the warehouse. You will provide first-line support for technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Monitoring and maintaining network performance, security, and connectivity will be part of your role, along with liaising with external IT service providers and vendors for specialist support and procurement. You will ensure that data integrity, backup procedures, and cybersecurity protocols are current and effective. Additionally, you will support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency and maintain accurate documentation of systems, licenses, and IT procedures. Training and supporting warehouse staff on basic IT usage and troubleshooting will also be important.
