Requirements

Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. - Professional experience in UX design. - Proven experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles and standards. - Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) methodologies and processes. - A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of UX design projects, especially in the public sector. - Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively. - Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features following GDS design principles. - Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. - Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications. - Develop and maintain design systems and style guides. - Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices. - Advocate for users to ensure their needs are met in all design decisions. - Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the entire design process.
