We are looking for someone who is passionate about determining robust solutions to business and technology challenges, possessing a strong understanding of PLM and Digital Engineering technologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in major engineering organizations or leading consulting and digital technology firms, particularly within the Product Engineering domain.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Knowledge of digital solutions in the Product Engineering sector.
- The ability to provide evidence-based architectural options, rationales, and recommendations.
- Experience in successful client projects.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.
- A commitment to developing expertise and understanding client issues based on accumulated experience.
- Skills to create and present architectural artifacts for governance forums.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with client architects at all levels.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be collaborating with clients, consultants, and delivery teams to determine business-specific solution needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and architecting solutions to meet clients Digital Engineering requirements, both business and technical.
- Creating and maintaining architectural artifacts (e.g., documentation, models) throughout project phases.
- Supporting the Project Manager in meeting business needs, governance approvals, and delivery timelines.
- Providing leadership and technical direction to tackle challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Offering strategic and enterprise-level input for constructing a holistic solution across data and application landscapes.
- Bringing architectural principles and methodologies to projects, documenting processes, procedures, and standards.
- Identifying application integration requirements, maintenance needs, upgrades, and data migration activities.
Description

You will engage with client architects and other stakeholders, guiding them through the technical aspects of business transformation from initial needs to fully delivered and implemented solutions. Your insight will be pivotal in transforming businesses, whether itβs through strategy and transformation or implementation programs. You will play a significant role in advancing some of the most exciting products currently in development in the UK. Preferred qualifications include: - A Bachelors Degree. - An ability to learn new methods, approaches, and tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - An understanding of the importance of data governance, strategy, and integrations. - Excellent communication skills suitable for all business levels. - PLM skills with proficiency in key PLM packages (e.g., Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill). - Familiarity with migration techniques and enterprise architecture frameworks like Zachman or TOGAF is a plus.
