Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure, and comfort with Microservice architectures along with a range of cloud, DevOps, and integration technologies.
- Experience on hybrid cloud complex systems integration projects, designing elements of the target cloud solution and its integration with existing on-premise applications.
- Ability to work within diverse teams, both with multiple suppliers and as part of an IBM team.
- A blend of experience in both large-scale waterfall deliveries and agile projects; must be a hands-on professional with a proven track record of maintaining current skills, ideally demonstrated through recognized certifications.
- Broad experience in designing and delivering technical architectures (application, infrastructure, integration, security, and data).
- Proficiency in public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Strong understanding and delivery experience in cloud-native architectures.
- Extensive experience in agile delivery methods, such as Scrum.
- Good understanding of scaled agile delivery methodologies, including SAFe or LeSS.
- Valid right to work in the UK, residency for the last 5 years, and ability to hold or gain UK government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud application modernization projects with our Public Sector clients.
- Provide architectural, consultative, and engineering support for customers cloud journeys.
- Deliver innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of our customers by bringing industry insights.
- Oversee transformations of complex enterprise projects from system requirements to production/deployment, ensuring overall solution integrity through hands-on technical leadership.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
