Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in a major engineering organization or leading consulting or digital technology firm
- Knowledge of digital solutions within the Product Engineering domain
- Ability to provide evidence-based architectural options and solution evaluations
- Experience in technically leading large complex projects
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks
- Skills in creating and presenting architectural artifacts for governance forums
- Ability to mentor junior architects and team members
- PLM skills and experience with key PLM packages like Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, or Windchill
- Understanding of migration and interface techniques, including ETL and Enterprise Service Bus
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, and delivery teams to determine business-specific solution needs
- Defining and architecting solutions to clients Digital Engineering needs, both business and technical
- Creating and maintaining architectural artifacts through all phases of a project
- Leading large and/or complex projects while supporting the Project Manager to meet business needs and delivery timescales
- Providing leadership and technical direction at all levels in the team throughout the project lifecycle
- Offering strategic and enterprise-level input to aid clients in constructing a holistic solution across their data and application landscape
- Documenting architectural processes, procedures, and standards
- Identifying application integration requirements, maintenance needs, upgrades, and data migration activities
- Seeking opportunities to eliminate complexity and automate tasks while deploying AI across operations
- Mentoring junior architects and encouraging best practice techniques
