Requirements
Must:
- Strong Salesforce (Sales Cloud) experience
- Proven background as a Technical Lead / Solution Architect / Solution Engineer
- Experience with AWS (Glue, AppFlow)
- Java development
- API integrations (REST/SOAP)
- CI/CD pipelines & cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)
- Experience working across business requirements / user journeys (BA background beneficial)
- Strong understanding of data models, MDM, and ETL processes
- Experience in Agile environments
- Experience managing or mentoring developers and QA teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable working with architecture review boards and senior leadership
- Ability to operate independently with confidence and gravitas
- Experience in insurance (desirable)
- Understanding of financial regulations (data privacy, compliance, etc.) (desirable)
- Consultancy background working with insurers (desirable)
- Salesforce ecosystem knowledge including: Flows, Apex, LWC (desirable)
- Data management & integrations (desirable)
- Security & sharing models (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and technical delivery across Salesforce and integrated platforms
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Developers, and Testers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
- Translate business requirements and customer journeys into technical designs
- Challenge and influence architectural decisions to optimise outcomes
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring developers and reviewing code where needed
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, cloud, event-driven architecture)
- Support Agile delivery across global teams and remove technical blockers
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data privacy, and governance standards
