- Proficient in MS SQL Server
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable: Experience with Python
- Desirable: Knowledge of Azure Synapse / Databricks
- Desirable: Familiarity with Flink / Kafka
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust database solutions across Azure VM & cloud environments
- Enforce best practice SQL development
- Implement and manage source control for database solutions
- Collaborate with team members to optimize database performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues as they arise
Description
We are Hyperloop, a dynamic company working with a Liverpool-based client who is looking to grow their team by hiring a Senior SQL Developer. This is a permanent position offering hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Liverpool office. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality database solutions and we value strong communication and collaboration. The role is easily commutable from nearby areas such as Birkenhead, Chester, Runcorn, Warrington, and the Wirral.
