Requirements
Must:
- 5 years commercial DevOps experience in a cloud-based environment
- High levels of proficiency across AWS
- Certified to a professional standard in AWS
- Experience with AWS cloud architecture (EC2, RDS, S3)
- Proficient in Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong coding skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Experience with Postgres/RDS
- Familiarity with automation and CI/CD DevOps pipelines
- Experience with GitHub actions
- AWS certification (DevOps or Architect)
- Degree educated in Computer Science or a similar subject
Responsibilities
- Own and shape the entire DevOps platform
- Design robust AWS architectures
- Automate processes to enhance efficiency
- Build fast and safe release pipelines
- Collaborate with the team to evolve DevOps practices
- Manage configurations and deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the DevOps environment
Description
We are a high-growth tech house located in Warrington, offering a hybrid working environment with three days per week in the office. Our team is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join us in enhancing our DevOps platform. We are close to various commuting options from Bolton, Chester, Crewe, Liverpool, Manchester, Runcorn, Stockport, Wigan, and Wrexham.
