Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have over 5 years of experience in software asset management, ideally within the financial services or regulated industries. A strong knowledge of ITIL, ISO 19770, and software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription) is essential. Proficiency in SAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, and Snow, along with experience in audit preparation, is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead software lifecycle governance, encompassing procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement. You will ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory standards, such as DORA and ECB. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance teams to optimize software spending and manage vendor relationships.

We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for a Software Asset Manager within our growing asset management team at our banking business. This permanent position is based in London City near Liverpool Street station with a hybrid working model (50/50). The salary for this role ranges from £60,000 to £80,000, along with a bonus and pension. This role is ideal for someone passionate about IT asset management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. You will play a crucial role in transforming our Software Asset Management function across EMEA, ensuring our software usage is optimized, compliant, and ready for audits. This position offers significant ownership and responsibility from day one.
