Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Quantitative Python Developer with expertise in Python development and experience working with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and SciPy. A preference for proficiency in multiple programming languages like C#, C++, Rust, or Java is desirable. Candidates should have a background in quantitative development, and experience in commodities such as LNG, Gas, and Power would be a significant bonus. An understanding of DevOps practices, particularly experience with Azure cloud, would also be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As part of our LNG, Power, and Gas team, you will be responsible for developing quantitative models and tools that support our trading operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing your expertise in Python and other programming languages to enhance our trading strategies and systems.
Description
This is an initial 12-month contract offering a competitive pay rate of up to £1000 per day via umbrella, with a high likelihood of extension.
