Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in React (75%) and Java (25%)
- Experience in front office banking, particularly with derivatives
- Strong understanding of GUI development focused on React
- Familiarity with back-end development using Java
- Ability to work collaboratively with international teams, including risk teams and trading desks
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications supporting trading, marketing, trade analysis, and research within our front office suite
- Serve as a hands-on Full Stack developer, primarily using React for the front end and Java 21 for the back end
- Collaborate with various teams, including Front Office risk teams, trading desks, Quants, and DevOps, to create state-of-the-art pricing and risk solutions
- Contribute to exciting projects within a thriving area of the bank
Description
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic front office derivatives team at an investment bank located in London. You will work in a hybrid environment, splitting your time between home and the office. The salary for this permanent role ranges from £70,000 to £85,000, plus bonuses and pension benefits. This position will involve engaging in significant front office trading projects and collaborating with multiple international teams.
