Must:
We are looking for candidates with experience in Application Software development and/or Infrastructure as Code development. You should have a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, particularly in configuration management and source control best practices, including repository branching and merging. It is essential that you can work collaboratively within a team while also being accountable for individual responsibilities. Additionally, we seek individuals who possess the ability to train and mentor junior resources. Relevant qualifications, such as Snowpro Architect, administrator, and AWS Certified credentials, are required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team of Software Engineers tasked with guiding the direction of DevOps Software Engineering processes and practices within the Data Infrastructure team. You will take charge of the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code for AWS Cloud and SaaS/PaaS hosting configurations, essential for multiple critical Finance & Data applications. You will ensure that all infrastructure builds align with our strategic goals of immutability and regular rebuilds. A significant aspect of your responsibilities will involve quality assurance, ensuring that defined standards and best practices are adhered to, facilitating outcomes that are auditable.
As a Senior/Lead Engineer, you will mentor and guide junior resources, actively championing the adopted processes and practices. Continuous improvement of these processes to leverage technological advancements and increase automation and repeatability will be a key focus of your role.
