Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all IT queries, providing friendly and efficient 1st and 2nd line support.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, networks, and peripherals.
- Support company applications such as Microsoft 365, Teams, and internal systems.
- Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Set up new equipment, including PCs, phones, and tablets.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly and patiently to non-technical colleagues.
- Assist with IT projects, system updates, and upgrades.
- Keep records and documentation up to date.
Description
We are a well-established organization based in Horley, seeking an IT & Systems Support Technician to join our team on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of going permanent. In this standalone role, you will take ownership of day-to-day IT support across the business, from setting up equipment to troubleshooting technical issues.
