Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations
- At least 3 years experience in SAP WM
- At least 3 years experience in SAP EWM
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS and SAP HANA administration/support
- Proven experience within the Defence sector or Defence-related environments
- Specific experience in ammunition management
- Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring capability
- Strong analytical skills, including root cause and trend analysis
- Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- SAP Certified Technology Associate (SAP HANA) - desirable
- ITIL Foundation Certification - desirable
- Must be immediately available for a full-time contract
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Poland
- Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency required
- No personal or familial background linked to Russia or Belarus
Responsibilities
- Lead the resolution of escalations and incidents within SAP BASIS and HANA environments, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards
- Oversee and contribute to SAP EWM delivery across full project lifecycles
- Validate and manage change implementation plans, ensuring compliance and minimising operational risk
- Conduct root cause analysis and trend analysis, presenting findings to business stakeholders
- Engage with customers regularly to identify operational issues and drive continuous improvement
- Support capacity planning activities across SAP systems to optimise performance
- Mentor team members, develop SOPs, and maintain clear technical documentation
- Act as a key interface between technical teams and business stakeholders
