Requirements
Must:
- Microsoft Azure systems administration experience
- Experience with Azure VM - scalable and secure solutions, VNet
- Vendor management skills
- Virtualisation knowledge
- Windows Server administration
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra ID, Group policy, and configuration
- Knowledge of Cloudflare, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Desirable: Azure certifications
- Desirable: Cloudflare certifications
- Desirable: ITIL V3 or V4 certification
Responsibilities
- Manage a hybrid environment with Azure and Hyper-V
- Implement IAM with Active Directory and Entra ID, focusing on Zero Trust Principles, conditional access, and MFA
- Coordinate with 3rd party support including MSP and SOC
- Maintain cybersecurity for secure, high-performance environments
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including GDPR, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials+
- Oversee disaster recovery and backup processes
- Document best practices, future proof standards, and maintain a knowledge base
- Handle a small amount of on-call duties with time off in lieu
