Requirements

Must:
- A relevant third-level qualification in data science, economics, or engineering. - 3 years' experience in data analysis or modelling, ideally within the energy sector. - Strong technical skills in Python, R, and Excel, with a proven ability to work with large data sets. - Experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical data clearly.

Responsibilities

As a Future Power Markets Senior Analyst, I will lead the development of advanced models to forecast market trends and power prices. I will support data-driven strategic decision-making across energy system planning, build robust analytical frameworks, and develop high-impact market insights. My role will involve presenting complex data clearly to senior stakeholders and decision-makers, contributing to market analysis that informs policy, operations, and commercial development. Additionally, I will implement continuous improvements in analytical methodology and reporting while taking an innovative approach to research, ensuring relevance in a rapidly changing sector.
