Requirements
Must:
We are looking for JavaScript developers who possess strong fundamentals in both JavaScript and TypeScript. You should have experience with Node.js for back-end services, and proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Knowledge of REST APIs and API documentation (OpenAPI) is essential, as is familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. We expect you to be skilled in using Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as Docker and microservices architectures.
Bonus points if you have experience with testing frameworks like Jest, the NestJS framework, or Jamstack technologies such as Gatsby or Next.js. Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, search engines like SOLR, or cloud platforms like AWS will also be advantageous. Experience with Java or Vert.X would be a plus for those with additional programming expertise.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop modern JavaScript and TypeScript applications across the stack. Your responsibilities will include building, documenting, and consuming RESTful APIs while contributing to important system design decisions. You will work closely with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) and get hands-on with OpenAPI documentation, Docker, and microservices-based architecture.
Collaboration is key, as you will work with product and UX teams to create meaningful features that enhance the journey for both students and employers. You'll also build on your experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
