Cloud Delivery Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple cloud projects and migrations, transitioning on-premises workloads to the cloud within large-scale business and IT programmes. You will collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while adhering to both IT and business governance frameworks. Your daily duties will include: - Managing cloud infrastructure by designing, deploying, and overseeing hybrid environments while ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency - Implementing automated security controls and access policies using scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and native cloud tools - Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, leveraging automation for failover and backup validation - Supporting cloud migration initiatives, assessing legacy platforms, and designing future-state architectures with automation-first principles - Building and maintaining effective relationships with business project managers, QA, development, and BA managers, and various business stakeholders - Assisting with IT estimates and managing FinOps of IT budgets, ensuring compliance with the gateway governance for funding release - Mentoring junior cloud engineers and onboarding new starters
