Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in implementing a data strategy that incorporates people, process and technology.
- In-depth knowledge of data modelling principles, techniques and tools with an ability to rapidly upskill in new areas or technologies, adapting to emerging needs.
- Experience designing data architectures that support advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI use cases, underpinned by strong data governance and quality.
- Strong expertise in database and data warehousing technologies such as SQL, Oracle and Databricks.
- Experience of working with internal or external customers to design robust, commercially sound technical solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a long-term, strategic roadmap for the implementation of our data strategy.
- Design and evolve data architectures that support advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring governance, quality, and suitability of data.
- Lead challenging data projects focused on deriving value from data to benefit our customers.
- Support the team and wider department with your specialist knowledge in data modelling, integration, and quality.
- Present and adapt your roadmaps to peers, senior leaders, or at events to share knowledge, seek feedback, and foster collaboration.
