Must:
We are looking for candidates with a high school education or higher, and some helpdesk or project support experience is preferred. You should demonstrate a desire and aptitude to learn new skills and work on automated systems. We value self-motivated, confident, and hard-working individuals. Strong organizational abilities and time management skills are essential. You must communicate effectively with both IT professionals and customers, adjusting your communication based on the audience's technical or non-technical ability. A willingness to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced environment is necessary. You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion. Good verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities, are crucial. You must be able to read and interpret technical documentation and possess a broad knowledge of common software packages, including Microsoft Office products and a good understanding of Windows and MAC.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will expect you to assist and direct staff and customers when support tickets are raised. You will support our projects team with customer IT projects, including preparing IT equipment, EPOS, and other scripted functions for our blue-chip client base. I encourage you to identify and implement necessary technological advances to enhance our business products and services when requested by management. Maintaining and updating existing products and services will also be part of your job, as will providing documentation to support and educate employees and customers on their use. You will support and maintain the software and hardware that we use in our day-to-day operations. Providing an excellent level of service to our customers while being professional and courteous is essential. In addition to these tasks, you may be required to assist with other duties related to business or customer operational needs, such as supporting the warehouse and projects team during busy periods.

This is a junior role with great potential in a vibrant environment, offering opportunities for advancement. Your shifts will be evenly allocated across the team and shared upfront on a 4-week basis, covering weekends and bank holidays. On average, you will work 37.5 hours per week, with hours from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays. There will be a 45-minute lunch break included. While weekend working is part of the shift schedule, we are flexible, allowing team members to swap shifts with one another when needed. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day are bank holidays, and all staff will have these days off. Typical shifts may include an early shift from 8:00 to 16:15, a late shift from 11:45 to 20:00, and a Sunday shift from 09:45 to 18:15. The salary for this position ranges from £19,500 to £24,000 per annum, with potential discretionary bonuses at year-end. Additionally, we offer 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), and a group stakeholder pension following a successful trial period.
