Must:
We are looking for candidates who have proven experience as a Solutions or Enterprise Architect. A strong background in C# / .NET and Microsoft Azure is essential. Knowledge of microservices, API-first design, and modern architectural patterns is required. Familiarity with UML, BPMN, or similar modeling approaches is important. You should have exposure to Agile environments (e.g., Scrum) and awareness of generative AI concepts and tooling. Comfort in mentoring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders is needed, and experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or frameworks like TOGAF would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will join our expanding architecture team, supporting a fast-moving tech department. You will work collaboratively across product, engineering, and business functions to design scalable, cloud-based solutions. Your responsibilities will include guiding delivery teams and helping embed best practices in a growing platform environment. You will be tasked with designing secure, scalable solutions across services and infrastructure, working with developers and product teams to align technical and business goals, shaping technical specifications, roadmaps, and architecture documentation, and staying current with technology trends—especially in cloud and AI.
Description
We offer the option to work fully remote or from our office located in the North Yorks / Durham Borders. The salary for this position ranges from £68,000 to £75,000, with a 7% pension and bonus. You will also enjoy 25 days of holiday, free gym access, and complimentary breakfasts.
