Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer on our specialist team, I will focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within a Java coding environment, emphasizing architecture, design, and automation. This role is suited for individuals transitioning from strong Java development backgrounds into the DevOps field, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. I will work collaboratively within a cohesive team that prioritizes technical excellence and innovation.
Description
We are a global enterprise-level SaaS product company with approximately 500 staff, known for our stability, vision, and structured work environment. This position is based at our London office HQ but allows for remote work, with one team day per month in the office. The salary range is £70K - £80K with a 10% bonus and an excellent benefits package. Additionally, it would be advantageous to have experience with an infrastructure as code approach to managing deployments, familiarity with configuration and deployment management (Scripting, Virtualization, AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.), and experience in a compliant systems environment (such as ISO 27001, SOC, or PCI-DSS). Experience in incident, change, and problem management, along with knowledge of SQL relational databases, will also be beneficial. If you're interested, please apply or reach out for a conversation.
