Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly with experience in Azure and AWS environments. You should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting networking, VMs, and firewalls. Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is essential. A proactive approach and the ability to think critically to overcome obstacles are key attributes we seek. Additionally, a good understanding of security frameworks, including ISO27001 and PCI-DSS, will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on our Product team, you will take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and ensure it runs smoothly, securely, and effectively. Your primary tasks will include automating processes that hinder our efficiency, managing releases in collaboration with our DevOps team, and enhancing helpdesk workflows. You will be involved in fine-tuning our Ansible playbooks and Terraform templates, and you will actively seek out smarter solutions to support our platforms.
Description
We offer a salary range of £45k - £55k base plus a bonus and benefits including a 5% pension, 25 days of holiday, 2 wellbeing days, a Christmas shutdown, private healthcare, life assurance, cinema tickets, and more. The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in our office located in Ludlow, Shropshire. After the probation period, there is an option to transition into a fully remote role.
