Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience with SAP VC, including product structures, dependencies, variant tables, and configurable BOMs
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes
- Skilled at translating technical requirements into system logic
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT cycles and defect resolution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis (mapping, extraction, validation)
- A collaborative team player able to work under pressure and manage priorities
- Flexible, proactive, and confident establishing new processes
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and creation of product structures and configuration in SAP
- Lead the creation of documentation, covering requirements, technical specification, project planning and execution
- Understand SAP Variant Configuration (VC): characteristics, classes, rules and dependencies to support production of project documentation and processes
- Manage diverse stakeholders and represent IT Product delivery, working directly with experienced analysts, IT partners and cross-functional teams
- Translate product specifications into end-to-end system logic
- Ensure close alignment with Technical, Product and Supply Chain colleagues to manage third party relationships
- Facilitate project testing lifecycle (Unit, SIT and UAT), steering test criteria based on complexity of projects, tracking defects through to go-live readiness
- Support cutover preparation and business readiness ahead of go-live
- Facilitate post-go live hypercare period, ensuring issues are addressed promptly
